Our annual Dog Days issue! And another opportunity for me to use goofy dog puns. I hope you’ll enjoy the variety and helpful resources we found for pet owners in Georgetown.
My family celebrated all the animals in the world at the Ark Encounter in northern Kentucky, and got to play with a few live critters there. Enjoyed a few more in Hot Springs, Arkansas on the way back. Nothing like love for all God’s creatures, great and small… and even the not-so-cuddly ones.
Also, it’s not too early to be thinking about the annual K-9 Kerplunk (September 17), which will be featured in full next month. The reason for that push to the right was so we could make room to also highlight some great people and businesses that will refresh our readers in this hottest time of year. Our special section also includes stories about and places to relax and enjoy a great beer year round.
We didn’t forget that it’s also time to start thinking about school again. Georgetown ISD has some new executive directors who are empowering while they are leading and we think you will appreciate the skills and plans for this school year.
I’m sure you didn’t miss the beautiful cover photo of our friends at Aesthetic Dentistry and I am delighted to share their annual Smile Freely story with our readers. I love their eagerness to give of their own time, talent, and treasure. They go so far beyond the standard business largesse… every member of their team contributes to the benefit of those in the community who are truly deserving.
